Iron Maiden have shared a 20-second video teasing an announcement tomorrow (Monday 13th November).
With the opening of ‘For the Greater Good of God’ from 2006’s ‘A Matter of Life and Death’ playing in the background, the video is simply titled 13.11.17 and depicts five stained glass windows in a church.
The central pane features a demon – possibly an incarnation of Eddie The Head - with the iconic artwork from albums ‘Piece of Mind’, ‘Seventh Son of a Seventh Son’ and ‘Somewhere in Time’ plus ‘The Trooper’ single cover making up the other four windows.
The windows then shatter before the demon breathes fire to reveal the date 13.11.17.
Unsurprisingly, since the video was uploaded Iron Maiden fans have been speculating about what exactly is being teased – guesses include a brand new album, ‘A Matter Of Life and Death’ live DVD/CD or re-release and a tour themed around the artwork in the stained glass windows.
We’ll wait and see!
