The Rolling Stones have announced the rescheduled dates for the North American leg of their No Filter Tour.
Originally due to kick off at Miami Gardens Hard Rock Stadium on 20th April and wrap up at Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Barrie, Canada next month, the band were forced to postpone the US and Canada trek back in March to allow Mick Jagger time to recover from heart surgery.
Proving he’s now definitely gig-ready, 75-year-old Mick took to social media yesterday (15th May) to post a video of himself energetically dancing in a studio. The astonishing video has been viewed more than 8million times on Twitter alone.
The newly rearranged dates will open at Chicago Soldier Field on 21st June and conclude at Miami Gardens Hard Rock Stadium on 31st August.
All tickets to the original shows remain valid. Refunds are also available from the point of purchase.
We are delighted to announce the new US and Canada tour dates today! All of the cities from the previously postponed shows are locked in, starting at Soldier Field in Chicago on June 21st and including a brand new date in New Orleans! Tickets sold for the original date will be honoured - fans DO NOT need to exchange their tickets. Those who cannot attend the re-scheduled date can refund their tickets by accessing their Ticketmaster account. For transferred tickets, the refund will go to the fan who originally bought the tickets, once they have been transferred back. Tickets for New Orleans will go on general sale Friday May 31, at 10am (local time). The pre-sale for the Rolling Stones mailing list will run from 10am on Wednesday May 29 to 10pm on Thursday May 30 (local time). We apologise again for any inconvenience the re-scheduling of these dates may have caused you and hope to see you at a show very soon! #therollingstones #stonesnofilter #tour #newdates #USA #Canada
