American rapper Post Malone has shared audio of his collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne, ‘Take What You Want’.

Lifted from Post Malone’s (real name Austin Post) third album ‘Hollywood's Bleeding’, which is out today, ‘Take What You Want’ very much sees Ozzy take centre stage.

Ozzy, who co-wrote the lyrics, is the first voice you hear as he belts out the chorus in his inimitable style: “I feel you crumble in my arms down to your heart of stone / You bled me dry just like the tears you never show / Why don’t you take what you want from me? / Take what you need from me/ Take what you want and go.

In an interview with Rolling Stone last month, Ozzy confirmed he’s penned nine song ideas while convalescing from a serious fall in his bedroom earlier this year.

Joking that the album will be called ‘Recuperation’, Ozzy said: “The most depressing thing I’ve been thinking is, ‘Am I gonna walk properly again? Am I gonna be able to perform again?'.

“I thought, ‘Well, if I just lay there watching f***ing World at War again, I’m not gonna f***ing do anything. So do what you can, even if it’s a little, just so you’re doing stuff … I don’t think I can do a rock concert right now. I’ll go, ‘Hello,’ and that’s it.”

Reflecting upon his lengthy road to recovery, Ozzy said: “I’m taking physical and occupational therapy classes, but the progress is very slow. They say it’s going to take at least a year. I’m hoping that I’ll be OK and ready to go by January (when the UK tour kicks off). I’m really keeping my fingers crossed.”

He added: “I’m used to getting up, getting on my elliptical and going for an hour or so and breaking a sweat. But I can’t do it. One day, I was doing an hour or two on the elliptical; now I can do just barely half an hour. I go out with a walking stick, and I walk up the road and I’m bushed.”

The UK and Ireland leg of Ozzy’s No More Tours 2 trek with Judas Priest is due to take in the following dates:

JANUARY 2020
Nottingham Motorpoint Arena – Fri 31st

FEBRUARY 2020
Dublin 3Arena – Sun 2nd
