Ones To Watch: Those Damn Crows

The twelfth band to take centre stage in our weekly Ones To Watch feature are Welsh hard rock purists Those Damn Crows.

Those Damn Crows are: Shane Greenhall (vocals), Ian "Shiner" Thomas (guitar), Lloyd Wood (bass), Ronnie Huxford (drums), David Winchurch (guitar).

Hailing from sunny Bridgend in South Wales, the brilliantly monikered Those Damn Crows are purveyors of melodic, in-your-face and exhilarating hard rock. The quintet pride themselves on refreshingly straight-forward mission statement to ‘write great songs, play great shows and become another successful Welsh export’ – and they seem to be succeeding. Unleashing their debut single ‘Fear Of The Broken’ in the summer of 2015, last autumn they followed it with their hard-hitting inaugural album ‘Murder And The Motive’; a debut simmering with promise that has spawned the anthems ‘Blink Of An Eye’ and the recently released hands-in-the-air celebration of our beloved genre, 'Rock N Roll Ain’t Dead’. Having played events including Camden Rocks, Hard Rock Hell, Giants of Rock and Steelhouse Festival since their inception, next February they will bring their sounds to Planet Rock presents Winter’s End; a performance we honestly can't wait for.
