Guitar legend Joe Satriani will play six UK shows next May as part of The Shapeshifting Tour 2020.
Opening at Bexhill De Lar Warr Pavilion on Friday 22nd May, the tour calls in at Glasgow, Gateshead, Manchester and London before culminating in Birmingham on Thursday 28th May 2020.

The Shapeshifting Tour will feature material from Satriani’s seventeenth studio album, which will land via Sony/Legacy in April 2020, alongside other gems from his sprawling back catalogue including ‘Surfing With The Alien’, ‘Always with Me, Always with You’ and ‘Flying In A Blue Dream’.
Satriani will be flanked by his band consisting of esteemed drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty), bassist Bryan Beller (Aristocrats) and keyboardist Rai Thistlethwayte (Thirsty Merc).
Satch last toured the UK in April 2018 when he took his fabled three-guitar touring entity G3 on the road. Alongside Dream Theater’s John Petrucci and former Scorpions axeman Uli Jon Roth, he performed six shows.
Previous G3 performers include Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Steve Lukather and Robert Fripp.
Alongside shifting a whopping 10 million albums worldwide as a solo artist, Satriani has released two studio albums with his supergroup side-project Chickenfoot alongside Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith.
