After posting a tantalising teaser trailer on Monday, the Iron Maiden ‘Legacy of the Beast’ pinball machines have been officially unveiled.

Created by Stern Pinball, Inc., there are three different models; Pro costing an eye-watering $5999 (approx. £4200), Premium ($7999/£5642) and Limited-Edition ($8999/£6348).

All models boast hand-drawn artwork created illustrator and Iron Maiden aficionado Jeremy Packer - a.k.a. Zombie Yeti – and, according to Stern Pinball, they aim to ‘reflect the same excitement, energy, and experience of a live Iron Maiden concert.’

They write: ‘Players will immerse themselves in an interactive Iron Maiden universe transforming into various forms of Eddie, the band’s legendary mascot.

‘Players, as Eddie, will embark on a quest to defeat the Beast and his minions across the Legacy of the Beast mobile game and comic book world.  Iron Maiden pinball entertains with an amazing array of modern and classic features, making it suitable for all skill levels.

‘On all models, players will go to battle as Eddie with the help of four flippers, two spinners, a set of 3-bank drop targets, metal and wireform ramps, a captive ball mechanism, a dual up-post lock mechanism, and a centre bullseye target.’

Gary Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball, Inc., said: “Iron Maiden is one of the most iconic bands of all time and we’re excited to have Eddie join the ranks of Stern Pinball’s rock and roll line-up.”

All three models will come loaded with 12 Iron Maiden songs that play out of speakers while the game is in use. They are:

1. Aces High
2. 2 Minutes to Midnight
3. The Trooper
4. Wasted Years
5. Can I Play With Madness

7. Run to the Hills
