Fast-ascending rockers Greta Van Fleet have unveiled details of their eagerly-awaited debut album ‘Anthem of The Peaceful Army’.

The Michigan quartet took to their social channels this afternoon to share a beguiling 45-second video along with the caption ‘As the new day unfolds…’

With a camera panning around the decidedly seventies prog rock-esque sci-fi artwork, a narrator says: “The power of music transcends sound itself. Those of us who cannot hear it, feel it. Like the dancing of a heartbeat is a reminder that humans love. We know that first in darkness, like a great drum in a mother's chest. The anthem of a peaceful army. To save all the world."

As instrumentals from a song kick in, the ‘Anthem of The Peaceful Army’ album title, artwork and track-listing are revealed. The record is released on Friday 19th October and is available to pre-order right now.

Amongst the 10 songs on the album are rip-roaring lead single ‘When The Curtain Falls’- check out the video conceived and directed by acclaimed visual effects artist Benjamin Kutsko below - and the newly unveiled song 'Watching Over'

The band once again drafted in Al Sutton and Marlon Young to produce the album having previously recorded April 2017’s ‘Black Smoke Rising’ EP and last November’s double EP ‘From the Fires’ with them.

Greta Van Fleet consists of twins Josh (vocals) and Jake Kiska (guitar), their brother Sam (bass, keyboards) and drummer Danny Wagner.

They grace these shores in November for completely sold out shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

The ‘Anthem of The Peaceful Army’ track-listing is as follows:

1. Age of Man
2. The Cold Wind
3. When The Curtain Falls
4. Watching Over
5. Lover, Leaver (Taker, Believer)
6. You’re The One
7. The New Day
8. Mountain of the Sun
9. Brave New World
10. Anthem
