Steelhouse Festival organisers have revealed the first six acts on the line-up for next year’s classic rock extravaganza.
Heading up the sun-kissed mountain in South Wales next July are former Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, Monster Truck, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, Kris Barras Band, Crown Lands and Revival Black.
Celebrating its tenth glorious year next summer, Steelhouse Festival once again takes place at the picturesque Hafod-y-Dafal Farm on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July.
Steelhouse Festival promoters Mikey Evans and Max Rhead enthuse: “It’s incredible to be talking about Steelhouse being 10. Sort of like when your kids get to double digits you have no idea how you got this far and you’re staggered it’s gone so fast.
“There’s been a few tantrums along the way and it’s not always been easy but you can stand back, be somewhat proud and slightly emotional of the darling little cherub they’ve grown up to be. Then you have a massive party to celebrate – and that’s exactly what we’re going to do come the 24th of July 2020’.
Welsh rock legend Phil Campbell comments: “We can’t wait to play up the Steelhouse mountain once again! I had a great time attending as a punter last year so it’s an honour to be asked back to play for you rockers!”
Jon Harvey, frontman of Canadian rock juggernauts Monster Truck, adds: “We’re beyond excited to come blast Steelhouse Fest and party in Wales!! I hope everyone is prepared for a face melting.”
With many more acts yet to be revealed, including the headliners, the family friendly Steelhouse Festival bills itself as the UK’s best value rock festival. It also holds the prestigious honour of being the UK’s highest music festival.
Since its inception, Steelhouse Festival has boasted performances from Thin Lizzy, Glenn Hughes, Myles Kennedy, Black Star Riders, Wildhearts, Thunder, The Darkness, UFO, Europe, Rival Sons, Saxon, Anvil, Michael Schenker, Skindred and many, many more more.
Day tickets costing £60 and weekend tickets costing just £95 (early bird) are on sale from steelhousefestival.com now.
