Bootyard Bandits premiere hip-thrusting 'Ladies' Man' video

Comedy country rockers, Bootyard Bandits, have premiered the gloriously daft ‘Ladies’ Man’ video exclusively on Planet Rock.

Packed with the kind of pertinent and thought-provoking lyrics that give great wordsmiths like Dylan and Cohen a run for their money, ‘Ladies’ Man’ is a no holds barred account of a day in the (frankly exhausting) life of Bootyard Bandits’ aesthetically-blessed frontman CJ Handsome.

Throughout its breathtaking three minutes and 18 seconds, thematically the song delves into the relentless struggles and hardships of CJ’s all-consuming ‘rock addiction’.

The band elucidate further: “Down on the ranch or out on the road, we see the effects of rock addiction on a daily basis and we feel it’s is a really overlooked condition that just doesn’t get taken seriously. So, we’re really hoping to raise awareness for it with Ladies’ Man; our most heartfelt song to date.”

As we’re sure you’ll all agree, Bootyard Bandits are an absolute shoe-in for a prestigious songwriting gong at The Ivor Novello Awards in 2020.

In keeping with the song’s potent themes, the accompanying highly tongue-in-cheek video features plenty of hip-thrusting, cross-dressing, snorkelling gear and, erm, blow-up dolls…

‘Ladies’ Man’ is the follow-up to February’s single ‘Hoedown Showdown’ that came complete with a hilariously gory LEGO stop motion movie that was painstakingly created by Paul White.

If you haven’t seen it, we implore you to cast your eyes on it here:

‘Ladies’ Man’ is available to download from Friday 7th June.
