Planet Rock on 105.2FM in the West Midlands

From Monday 7th September, Planet Rock goes Digital-Only and this means that it will no longer be available on 105.2FM in the West Midlands. This frequency is being given to our sister station Absolute Radio.

However, don’t worry because this doesn’t mean we are leaving. We’re still here, still rockin’ and still playing the tunes you love. Planet Rock was one of the first digital only radio stations in the UK and over 16 years it has built a strong following of loyal listeners whose passion is rock music.

You’ll be able to listen to the station on digital radio, via your digital TV, online at planetrock.com and via our mobile app – this all means you can listen to Planet Rock pretty much anywhere you want to and the quality is great. We’ve put a handy table below showing all of the ways to listen. You can also check getdigitalradio.com for a list of in-car adaptors, that start from £49.

We’ll still be the place “Where rock lives” and you’ll still get all of the presenters and music you want. From waking up with Paul to Wyatt and Darren on daytimes along with The Hairy Bikers on Sundays, Alice Cooper’s Night With Alice and Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott.

We’re committed to making your radio station even better. We'll be bringing you a brand new website and mobile app very soon, so make sure you check those out. Stay Rockin’, Stay Tuned.
