Yes Tour To Feature THREE Full Album Performances
Yes will be playing not one, not two but THREE of their albums in full on their US tour next year.
The band will perform ‘The Yes Album’, ‘Close to the Edge’ and ‘Going for the One’ from start to finish at each show.
According to the Hennemusic website, original guitarist Steve Howe commented, "These albums we all easily agreed on – they are complete works in themselves”
Co-founder and bassist Chris Squire went on to say, "I believe the only song not performed in concert is ‘A Venture’ from ‘The Yes Album’. And probably the most tricky of all of the songs planned for this set is ‘Turn of the Century’ from the ‘Going for the One’ album”.
The tour starts in Nevada in March. The current Yes line up features Steve Howe on guitar, Chris Squire on bass duties, vocals from Jon Davison, Alan White on drums and Jeff Downes looking after keyboards.
