VIDEO: Scott Weiland Apologises To Fans

Tuesday, August 20th 2013 11:44

The singer has publicly apologised to Stone Temple Pilots fans.

His speech began during a solo show in Philadelphia on Saturday night, during which fans were chanting negative comments about his successor in the band, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington.

Referring to comments he made earlier this year after he was fired from Stone Temple Pilots, he said:

"The problem is I shouldn't have said anything at all and I apologise to those fans out there who feel like they're caught in the middle of it, cause I sure feel like I'm caught in the middle of it emotionally, and all I want to do is play music, man."
