Live At Hull gets standalone release

Released on 19 November as a 2CD edition in a six-panel digipack, Live At Hull is released 40 years after it was originally taped.

Recorded the day after the Who's legendary show at Leeds University on 15 February 1970, this Hull show was considered for release as the band's first live album. Ultimately the Leeds show was chosen and released as Live At Leeds because the bass parts at the Hull show did not record properly, but Pete Townshend has always maintained that the Hull show was the better performance.

Live At Hull was finally restored and produced for inclusion in the 2010 Live At Leeds 40th Anniversary Box Set, but that collection is now deleted and so the 'Hull' is to get its own release.

Like the recent deluxe editions of Live At Leeds, Live At Hull in a 2CD set that includes a full performance of Tommy along with a CD featuring a set of greatest hits performances.
