Stones '65 Film To Première In New York
The band's first tour film to get a rare outing next month
A new version of the legendary tour film, The Rolling Stones: Charlie Is My Darling – Ireland 1965, will premiere at the New York Film Festival on 29 September at New York City's Walter Reade Theater. The film will get a box set release in November.
Charlie Is My Darling follows the band as they tour Ireland weeks after "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" hit the top of the charts and features the first professionally-filmed live performances of the Rolling Stones.
This new 2012 version of the film includes added never-before-seen footage and it has been restored and remastered.
