Slayer Return To The Studio
The band have started work on the follow-up to World Painted Blood.
In a Tweet, Dave Lombardo revealed that "Slayer is writing a new record.”
The album will be their first since 2009 and their 12th studio album overall, and it will feature guitarist Jeff Hanneman following his recovery from a flesh-eating virus which he contracted earlier this year.
The thrash metal legends will play their Reign In Blood album in full at a one-off UK show at Alexandra Palace in London on 25 May as part of the ATP I'll Be Your Mirror event. Get your tickets for the show below.
