Sir Ozzy Osbourne?
Online campaign started to have Black Sabbath frontman knighted.
A woman in Australia has begun an internet petition to have Ozzy Osbourne knighted by the Queen.
"Ozzy has been an inspiration to many great musicians over the last 40 years" says Helen Maidiotis, originally from Sydney. "He is a credit to his country and I believe that a knighthood for Ozzy is one well deserved and long overdue.”
Maidiotis set up a campaign over causes.com, which has already been signed by over 200 people. She is also supporting her efforts with a facebook page. Originally petitioning to have all the founding members of Black Sabbath considered for knighthoods, she has now chosen to focus her efforts solely on Ozzy.
