Two more artists have been confirmed for Planet Rockstock 2016.
Thin Lizzy/Black Star Riders vocalist Ricky Warwick and his band The Fighting Hearts will hit the main stage as special guest/main support on the final night of this year's Planet Rockstock (Sunday 4 December).
Ricky Warwick recently released a double solo album entitled "When Patsy Cline Was Crazy (And Guy Mitchell Sang The Blues) / Hearts On Trees". The first half (When Patsy...) showcases his "electric rock and roll" side, whilst "Hearts On Trees" features more stripped-back song writing. You can watch Ricky performing songs from the album in an exclusive Planet Rock live session here.
The task of opening up the Planet Rockstock main stage this year falls to Stone Broken, who are also confirmed in the latest announcement. The Midlands-based hard rockers will kick things off on Friday 2 December. Expect riffs aplenty from their recently released debut album "All In Time"!
So far, we've also announced that Tyketto, Martin Turner ex Wishbone Ash and more will all be taking to the main stage. Watch this space for more band announcements, including three incredible headliners, over the coming months.
Planet Rockstock, now in its fourth consecutive year, takes place from 1 - 4 December 2016 at Trecco Bay in South Wales. Discounted earlybird tickets are on sale now via planetrock.com/rockstock. Limited on-site accommodation places remain, so get booking now! The earlybird offer ends 30th April.
