They took the summer off from album 6The long-gestating album will be their first since 2007's Era Vulgaris and the recording process has been pretty drawn out. Josh Homme announced in early 2011 that it would be finished by the end of the year, but sessions were delayed until November and then spread over a few months before the band took the summer off.
