Preview "New" Tommy Bolin Record
The album is made up of finished outtakes from the Teaser album
Tommy Bolin and Friends - Great Gypsy Soul was released in the US a couple of months ago but it's still to find an official release on these shores. However, the album's record label, earMUSIC have released a clip from the album to tide you over until it does eventually come out.
The album is comprised of outtakes from Bolin's classic Teaser album which have been finished off by some of his famous admirers such as Joe Bonamassa, Peter Frampton, Aerosmith‘s Brad Whitford, Steve Morse, Warren Haynes and Steve Lukather.
The project was part spearheaded by Haynes, who said of the project "Many of the guests added after the fact have a close personal connection to Tommy, all share in acknowledging his place in rock history. Watching (and hearing) it all come to fruition some 35 years later was a journey of its own. Well worth the travel.”
The album has been released as a CD and 2CD edition.
