Scottish blues rock marvels King King are embarking on a five date UK tour this autumn in association with Planet Rock.
The biggest shows in King King’s distinguished career will see the band kick off proceedings on 14th October at Bath Forum before taking in Birmingham Town Hall, London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, Sheffield Leadmill and closing at Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall on 20th October.
Planet Rock has an exclusive 48-hour presale for the tour, which kicks off at Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Wednesday 14th June. General sale tickets then follow on Friday.
The tour supports the release of King King’s eagerly anticipated fourth studio album ‘Exile & Grace’, which lands on Friday 6th October.
Recorded at Superfly Studios, the quartet’s first album of new material since 2015’s critically lauded ‘Reaching For The Light’ boasts upcoming single ‘She Don’t Gimmie No Lovin’, which was mixed by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Feeder and Therapy).
Singer and guitarist Alan Nimmo says: “Exile & Grace definitely has a rockier feel and sound to it. We are following our influences from the Classic Rock genre, Bad Company, Whitesnake and Thunder.
“We really set out to challenge ourselves with this album. We’ve stepped up the quality of songwriting and pushed ourselves physically in both performance and delivery!”
