Pearl Jam Bassist Breaks Fan's Nose: "It was worth it" Says Fan
Don’t challenge Jeff Ament to a basketball game...
At last weekend's Big Day Out Festival in New Zealand, Pearl Jam fan Sherif Hassan says he got his nose broken during an especially intense game of impromptu basketball that included bassist Jeff Ament, as well as Arcade Fire's Win Butler.
Hassan told Australian radio station Triple J that it was ‘worth it’ however, as he got backstage passes and a shout-out from Eddie Vedder.
Pearl Jam are headlining this year's Big Day Out, which makes its way across Australia this week.
