Lindsey Buckingham says tour may lead to completion of new album
Lindsey Buckingham has admitted in the past to trouble juggling his solo career with his role as guitarist for folk legends Fleetwood Mac.
He revealed that last summer he began collaborating with drummer Fleetwood and bassist McVie, and together they produced enough material for "maybe half an album".
Vocalist Stevie Nicks confirmed last month that Fleetwood Mac were in preparation for a reunion tour, with rehearsals planned for the start of February.
Two years ago a reunion tour was planned, but failed to materialise due to scheduling conflicts. Next year will be the 45th Anniversary of the band's first release, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.
Buckingham has expressed hopes that the tour will prompt completion of a new record.
