My Planet Rocks: Seasick Steve
We have a brand new series of My Planet Rocks starting on Sunday at 7pm
In the first episode of Series 7 of My Planet Rocks, blues veteran SEASICK STEVE is in the hot-seat to pick his favourite songs and talk about his extraordinary career.
Steve puts together an eclectic mix of tracks from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, John Lee Hooker and Carl Perkins and talks about his humble beginnings, the benefits of being discovered later in life and how John Paul Jones came to appear on his new record.
Tune in on Sunday 5th June at 7pm to find out which track "get's him going in his brain."
Now in its seventh series, My Planet Rocks has seen some of the world's greatest rock stars take to the airwaves. Since the series first began, the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, Lemmy from Motorhead, The Who's Pete Townshend, Meat Loaf, Alice Cooper, blues legend Gary Moore and the late, great Ronnie James Dio have all taken control of the radio station for an hour to play their favourite songs and talk about their greatest influences.
