Lou Reed and Tom Morello are amongst the names who have lent support to the campaignNME reports that Occupymusicians.com pledges support to the Occupy movement around the world from the likes of Lou Reed, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine – who performed at a number of the Occupy camps – Amanda Palmer, Guy Picciotto and Ian MacKaye of Fugazi, Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys, Saul Williams, Merrill Garbus of Tune-yards, Roy Harper, Sharon Van Etten, Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond and Talib Kweli.
