Metallica Confirmed As Saturday Night Glastonbury Headliner
The Worthy Farm event just got a bit heavier...
Following weeks of speculation and various clues from the Eavis family, Metallica have now been officially confirmed to be appearing at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The band will fill the remaining headline slot on The Pyramid Stage on the Saturday night.
Metallica announced the news on Twitter, saying:
"Worst kept secret in rock and roll is now confirmed... see you at @GlastoFest on June 28th! #MetOnTour"
