U2 have premiered their new song 'You're the Best Thing About Me' and its accompanying lyric video.
The first official single to be lifted from the Irish rock giants’ upcoming album ‘Songs of Experience’, 'You're the Best Thing About Me' melds lyrics about love with trademark U2 stadium-ready music.

The single artwork was shot by U2’s long-term collaborator Anton Corbijn and features The Edge’s daughter 20-year-old Sian Evans wearing a soldier’s helmet in an apparent nod to the cover artwork to ‘The Best of 1980–1990’.
The premiere comes exactly a week after U2 debuted album track ‘The Blackout’ on their official Facebook page, which you can watch below.
There’s currently no concrete release date set for ‘Songs of Experience’, however the band’s website has confirmed pre-order details will be announced “soon.”
U2’s fourteenth studio record is the follow-up to ‘Songs of Innocence’ that was released to iTunes Store customers for free in September 2014 before it got a physical release a month later.
Having played shows across Europe in the summer, including two nights at Twickenham Stadium, U2 are currently two shows into the second North American leg of The Joshua Tree 30th anniversary tour. The tour hits Latin American in October.
