Iron Maiden launch 'Trooper' beer
Band collaborate with family brewers Robinsons on new beverage! The beer is now being sold in select Robinsons pubs across the UK, where it is proving very popular with British drinkers. Robinsons are currently working six days a week in order to keep up with demand, while three batches are being brewed every day - the first time this has happened in the company's history.
Over a quarter of a million pints have been pre-sold in Britain alone, and over 100 other countries have applied to begin stocking the beer.
"We haven’t spent a single penny on advertising,” says David Bremner of Robinsons. "This is history in the making for brewing.”
The beer was developed with the help of lead singer Bruce Dickinson, and you can see a clip of him explaining the differences between draught Trooper and bottled Trooper beer.
