Iggy Pop 'Tortured Into Liking Justin Bieber' In Ad Campaign
The Stooges man features on Amnesty International posters.
In a new awareness campaign by Amnesty International Belgium, Iggy Pop is pictured looking beaten and bloody, with the implication being that he has been tortured into liking "popstar" Justin Bieber.
The image features the quote "L'avenir du rock 'n' roll, c'est Justin Bieber", which translates to "The future of rock 'n' roll, it's Justin Bieber".
The poster also features the anti-torture campaign's key message “Torture a man and he will tell you anything.”
Amnesty International's Belgium director Philippe Hensmans said of the campaign: “For us it was a quirky but not sloppy way to attract public attention to this tragic reality, which often happens in the greatest secrecy.”
