Hagar Putting Together Career Retrospective
A forthcoming show will see him perform music from four different eras
Hagar has announced on his website that he will play a special one-off show at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey's on 1 September.
Hagar will play a set with his current solo band, The Wabos before welcoming Michael Anthony onstage for a set called The Other Half Of Van Hagar.
He will then get the surviving members of Montrose onstage with Joe Satriani filling in for Ronnie Montrose to play a set of tracks, and then the encore will see Satriani, Anthony and drummer Denny Carmassi performing some Chickenfoot material.
Hagar says that this is a "prototype" of the show he wants to take on the road next year.
