The Who's "Tommy" Re-issue To Be Released
The re-mastered album with extras is due out November 11th.Tho Who's defining concept album will get the re-issue treatment this Autumn, with both Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions available.
The Super Deluxe edition will feature four discs: the original album digitally remastered, 20 previously unreleased demos and outtakes from Pete Townshend's archive, a Hi-Fidelity Pure Audio Blu-ray mix of the album in 5.1 surround sound, plus a live 'bootleg' album featuring 21 previously-unreleased tracks from various live shows from 1969.
The set will be completed by a hardback 80-page full-colour book featuring rare period photos and memorabilia, a 20,000-word essay by Who aficionado Richard Barnes, a rare facsimile Tommy poster and it will all be housed in a limited edition hard-back deluxe slip-case.
The Deluxe edition will feature the remastered album and the live bootleg disc.
