Dave Grohl Performs ‘Walk This Way’ with Slash and Steven Tyler
The Foos also played in a cark park.
Not satisfied with playing with Trent Reznor, Josh Homme and Lindsey Buckingham at this year’s Grammys, Dave Grohl recently played drums on a live performance of the Aerosmith classic Walk This Way with Steven Tyler and Slash, meaning Grohl has now conceivably played with every rock legend left alive today.
The one-off performance was for US DJ Howard Stern’s 60th Birthday party in New York.
Fan shot footage can be seen below:
Not one to stop for very long, Grohl also performed a full 2-hour set with the Foo Fighters in New York over the weekend. The band played in a specially constructed tent in the car park of the Bud Light Hotel Amphitheatre in Manhattan.
Dave Grohl joked that "they always put us in the parking lot. Did you see Foo Fighters on the Grammys? In the parking lot. But you know what? I like being in the fucking tent in the parking lot with you guys."
45 minutes of the gig, including hits All My Life, Times Like These and The Pretender can be seen below:
