South African guitar virtuoso Dan Patlansky will hit the road next spring on a Planet Rock Presents tour in support of his new album ‘Perfection Kills’.
Following his autumn dates supporting Joanne Shaw Taylor, Dan will head out on a six-date run of headline shows in March 2018 taking in Manchester, Newcastle, Leek, Bristol, Sheffield and London.
Tickets go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Monday 6th November.

Boasting the lead single ‘Dog Day’, which was played first on Paul Anthony’s show this morning, ‘Perfection Kills’ is released on CD, 180-gram vinyl, mastered for iTunes digital and standard digital download formats on Friday 2nd February 2018.
The follow-up to 2016’s critically lauded ‘Introvertigo’ was recorded at Scherzo Productions, a recording studio in Dan’s home town of Pretoria, South Africa.
“Perfection Kills is all about my vision of making a record that still make the song writing a priority as in the past, the final product delivers a far more real and organic result,” says Dan.
Reflecting upon how he has evolved musically, Dan added: “To me it feels like a band playing live in the studio which isn’t far from the truth.
“As mentioned the songs are still the priority and always will be, but on this album they come across far closer to the way they will sound live.
“This is the album I’ve wanted to make for a few years now. So all I wanted to do was get the sound and production in my head across to the listeners in a raw and charmingly rough way.”
The album track-listing is as follows:
2. Never Long Enough
4. Too Far Gone
5. Judge A Man
6. Junket Man
8. Shake The Cage
9.My Dear Boy
10. Dog Day
