Rival Sons - Pressure & Time
This week we are celebrating the release of PRESSURE & TIME, the stunning brand new album from California's RIVAL SONS and we are giving away copies of the album and tickets to see the band on tour next month.
PRESSURE & TIME is a swaggering, classic rock n roll record which takes all of the best bits from 1970s blues infused rock (think classic Zeppelin, early Purple or Foghat at their best) and leaves the overblown bombast behind. By the time you're done you'll feel like you know the songs back to front, and you'll want to hear it all over again pretty damn quickly.
Written and recorded in just 20 days in LA, it's raw, it's immediate and it's pure - songs such as 'Young Love' (imagine the Small Faces channeling AC/DC), the single 'Pressure & Time' (a song the Black Crowes will kick themselves for not writing first) and 'Gypsy Heart' (which sounds Zep classic you've somehow never heard) stand out as particular highlights on a staggeringly strong LP.
It's a record that demands to be played loud and often, rocketing through its ten tracks at breakneck speed and leaving you in no uncertain terms that this band are the great hope for rock n roll in the 21st century.

RIVAL SONS ON TOUR
Rival Sons will be on the road this summer, appearing at a handful of festivals, touring with Judas Priest and Queensryche and playing a couple of their own shows in Leeds and London.
