AC/DC: Live At Donington (1992)
AC/DC are a band that you can just point a single camera at and hit record and you will get a good film. So when AC/DC decide to record on 35mm Panavision film with 26 cameras you know you're going to get something very, very special.
Filmed at 1991's Monsters Of Rock festival - their third appearance there - this film established the band's legend at Donington. It remains one of the iconic festival performances which represents everything that is joyful and great about rock and roll music.
The set is impeccable - a greatest hits, basically - and the band are just brilliant (as always). The set contains all of the theatrics that you would expect - from inflatables to cannons and it's one of the first "modern" concert films, setting a template for most of the concert films that you will see today.
(make sure the quality of this video is set at 720p or the sound is horrible)
