Von Hertzen Brothers is a Finnish prog-related rock band consisting of the three von Hertzen brothers, citing bands such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and Kingston Wall as their influences. Each of the brothers have played in many popular Finnish rock bands. Kie played in Don Huonot, Mikko in Egotrippi and Lemonator and Jonne in Jonna Tervomaa's band. The band released their first album Experience in 2001. Their second album Approach was released in spring 2006, which attained Gold Record status in Finland and also won the Finnish Grammy (Emma) for Best Rock Album of the year 2006. Their third studio album Love Remains The Same was released on May 14, 2008. Mikko also started a studio diary in their website's forum, where fans were able to follow the recording's progress. While there ever remains a steady and faithful fan base in their home country of Finland, their popularity is still expanding in other countries including a key performance slot on the Roskilde Music Festival in Denmark in the summer of 2008.
