Sonisphere Festival 2012 - 6, 7, 8 July - Knebworth
The spiritual home of rock and roll is set for another awesome year with SONISPHERE KNEBWORTH 2012 bringing a mass of exclusive sets to Knebworth for its fourth annual instalment.
Taking place on the weekend of 6-8 July, Britain's fastest growing rock and metal festival has put together a bill so good that it's almost unfair on other music festivals.
So far they've managed to sign up a massive FOURTEEN exclusive sets from some of the world's best rock and metal acts, including headline performances from KISS, QUEEN + Adam Lambert and FAITH NO MORE.
All three of the headliners play their only UK shows of the year at Sonisphere Knebworth, while the undercard has some mouthwatering exclusive acts, including a special set from MASTODON, a UK exclusive from WOLFMOTHER and a set from THE DARKNESS.
Plus TIM MINCHIN will headline the Saturn stage on Saturday night with his inimitable brand of musical comedy.

FRIDAY NIGHT HEADLINERS
With a reputation for being perhaps the most flamboyant and entertaining band on the planet, the American Kings will bring their stage extravaganza to SONISPHERE as their only European performance of 2012.
They'll be bringing a full array of stage theatrics, lights, lasers, rockets, pyrotechnics and whatever else they can lay their hands on PLUS material from their brand new studio album MONSTER for a headline set not to be missed
SATURDAY NIGHT HEADLINERS
With a quarter of a century having since passed, rock legends QUEEN are to return to play a second concert at the venue that provided them with the setting for one of their biggest and most historic concerts.
QUEEN’s Brian May and Roger Taylor have confirmed the band will headline the second day of SONISPHERE appearing on the APOLLO stage on Saturday July 7. KNEBWORTH was the setting for QUEEN’s final concert with Freddie Mercury in August 1986.
May and Taylor also confirmed that for this very special event they will be joined by US singer-songwriter ADAM LAMBERT.
SUNDAY NIGHT HEADLINERS
For the final, Sunday night, SONISPHERE KNEBWORTH welcomes the legendary FAITH NO MORE as the headline act on the APOLLO stage.
With classics such as ‘Falling To Pieces’, ‘Epic’, ‘Midlife Crisis’ and ‘Be Aggressive’, Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum, Bill Gould, Jon Hudson and Mike Patton are poised to close Sonisphere Knebworth with their only UK appearance of 2012.
Says bassplayer Billy Gould:
"It was over 2 years ago when we decided to reform and play those amazing UK shows. The good news is, we've had a couple of years to improve our skills; moving our song to error ratio down 3.5 full percentage points. Watch out UK, we're going to do it right this time!!"
HERE'S THE LINE-UP SO FAR:
