Black Sabbath guitarist and founding member Tony Iommi is back to present a new series of Black Sunday.

Tony is joined by colleagues and friends from all walks of life who love their rock music. He’ll share his experiences from over 30 years at the top table of rock’s aristocracy, as well as the stories behind some of Black Sabbath’s most famous songs and giving away a host of top rock prizes.

Black Sunday Unsigned Bands Competition Now Closed

The deadline for sending your demos to Tony for the Unsigned Band competition has now passed.

Thanks to the many hundreds of you that took the time to send in your CD, every single one of them has been listened to. The final selected band will be played this coming Sunday (19th November) and will compete alongside the bands that have been played so far in the series. 

The eleven bands that have been shortlisted to date by Tony are:

Nerve Engine,

Legion,

Mandrake,

When Gravity Fails,

4ft Pimp,

Ichabod Crane,

Kyshera,

HeKz,

Tenth Planet,

Tequila Rockin’ Bird

Hurricane State. 

The winners of the competition will be announced during the final show of the current series on Sunday 26th November 2006.
