The 2010 Great British Beer Festival once again takes place at Earls Court from 3-7 August.

The festival will be playing host to a dazzling array of real ales, ciders, perries and a whole lot of fine cuisines to keep your energy levels up while you take in the liquid refreshments on offer.

There's also a host of other things on offer to keep you entertained throughout your visit, including traditional pub games and some great live music.

TICKETS

Tickets are on sale now for the GBBF right now - and if you buy advance tickets it will save you £2 compared to buying tickets on the door.

Tickets are a bargain £8 for non-members and £6 for members of CAMRA, while you can get a season ticket for £23 (or £20 if you're a member) which will get you access to every day of the festival.

TASTING SESSIONS

Learn how to taste beer like a pro and properly appreciate some of the spectacular ales on offer at one of the special Tasting Sessions on offer over the Festival

Tuesday 3 August 2010, 6pm
'300 Beers To Try Before You Die!' By Roger Protz
Leading Beer Expert Roger Protz will taste 6 beers taken from his best-selling book '300 Beers To Try Before You Die!'. A book signing will follow the tasting.

Wednesday 4 August 2010, 1.30pm and 6pm
'Champion Beers of Britain' by Roger Protz
A taste of the best from this year's competition, including the category winners and the current Champion Beer of Britain, hosted by one of the lead judges and Good Beer Guide editor Roger Protz.

Thursday 5 August 2010, 1.30pm
'Real Ale in a Bottle: The New Wave' by Jeff Evans
Jeff Evans, author of the Good Bottled Beer Guide and bottled beer expert, takes a look at the new wave of breweries that are beginning to produce bottle-conditioned beers, focusing on 6 that have made a big impression on him.

Thursday 5 August 2010, 6pm
'A British Beer Voyage' by Christine Cryne
Christine Cryne will take you on a 'beer' journey around Britain, sampling 6 different beers from all over the country.

Friday 6 August 2010, 1.30pm
'Meet the Brewers' hosted by SIBA
Meet 6 head brewers from breweries all over the country that will each taste one of their signature beers.

Friday 6 August 2010, 6pm
'The American Revolution' by Melissa Cole
Leading beer expert Melissa Cole presents 6 of the best US beers that are leading the American beer revolution. The tasting will feature a selection of styles and strengths to suit

BIÈRES SANS FRONTIÈRES

Bières Sans Frontières has grown in size over the years and has been able to introduce many new beers to the British market.

There are three bars within BSF: the Belgian and Dutch Bar, The German and Czech Bar, which is sponsored by Budweiser Budvar, and the USA and Rest of the World Bar.

CAMRA

At the 2010 Festival there will be thirteen CAMRA bars; the majority of these are regional bars and therefore a good place to start if you want to find real ale from your favourite part of the country. There is also Bar Nouveau which offers some tasty brews from some of Britain's newest breweries, and the Real Ale in a Bottle Bar, offering a large number of the 1,300 bottle conditioned beers currently available to buy in the UK at present. .

For lovers of real cider and perry a visit to the Cider Bar is essential with up to 100 ciders and perries all dispensed by gravity directly from the cask.

BREWERY BARS

In addition to the CAMRA bars a number of breweries from around the country will be well represented at the Festival with their own bar. These brewery bars are an exciting feature at the festival and will have some of your favourite beers available during the five day period. A number of them will be selling new beers and running competitions and are well worth a visit!

BAR GAMES & AUCTION

The Great British Beer Festival is more than the beer. This year, CAMRA's Games and Collectable Group will be once again organising the traditional pub games, everything from Table Skittles and Shut the Box to Roll the Barrel and Table Football; Tombolas, where the lucky can win bottles of beer, tee shirts, books and much more.



THE FAMILY ROOM

The Great British Beer Festival caters for all the family, with a family room so that you can stow away the little ones to enjoy children's entertainers, video games, toys and table football, along with soft drinks, snacks and sweets.

The family room is open every lunchtime until 9pm. All those under the age of 18 must remain in the Family Room throughout the Festival and must be supervised by a family member.
