29th January 2010
Planet Rock will be speaking to former Journey frontman on Monday 1 February.
Perry will be appearing on Nicky Horne’s show on Monday from about 7pm, so make sure that you tune in to hear a rare interview with one of the most famous voices in rock.
Nicky will no doubt be asking Steve about the recent resurgence of Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ which has been hanging around the UK’s top 10 singles charts for nearly two months now.

(08/02/2010 07:26:07) If I may, an observation from my perspective. It seemed that everyone wanted a part of you, and so your life became so splintered, that it was hard to hold on to any part of it that you could call your own. But, "life happens" and through it all you were able to stay true to yourself and keep the part that mattered the most, your soul. Yes we still call out for you because whenever we heard your voice in this complicated world, it seem to some how make everything more simple. The ones of us who were lucky enough to have watched you grow through the years, have more life behind us now, than in front of us, but how young we become when we hear your songs and go back in time before "life happened". |

(06/02/2010 06:53:09) I read on a few websites In a recent interview for Mix Magazine in January 2009, session drummer Russ Miller told the mag he was recording for Steve Perry. Russ - "I've done [the movies] Chicken Little, Resident Evil Apocalypse, Silent Hill and Lakeview Terrace, where I'm doing all of the drums and percussion here. Right now I'm working on Steve Perry's album. It's not even a question anymore; everybody comes here. I'll go out on the road and come back, and there will be sessions waiting to happen, and I try to turn them around in a timely manner." Is this true??? |
