Rodgers Picks Up Hometown Honour

Paul Rodgers has been presented with an honorary doctorate by Teeside University.

Blabbermouth reports that the legendary frontman picked up the award at a ceremony on Friday at his hometown university to become an Honourary Doctor of Letters.

Said Rodgers: "Having spent the day amongst the welcoming people of this high achieving University I am inspired and elated. This doctorate means a lot to me, I am surprised, humbled and honoured indeed."

Rodgers is the measuring stick for singers and songwriters alike. When he chooses!!! what he chooses!!! & How he chooses his genre of songs is irrelevant... They are always transformed into that unpresidented vocal experience, that no other can copy, duplicate or stand up against.
Years ago, my college football team, the Newberry College Indians, could never leave the dressing room without hearing BAD COMPANY burning thru our ears and into our souls....It was our battlecry!!!
